The German trance duo of Solace and Solitude comprising Pete Severano and Christian Anders bursts onto the scene with a stunning three track EP. Having only been working together since 2008, it was their passion for the same style of music which inevitably lead to their cooperation. Chris's technical knowledge acquired during his studies at the School of Audio Engineering in Munich, combined with Pete's experience as a DJ has resulted in something very special indeed. As a DJ with 10 years experience, Pete is well aware of what it takes to shake a dance floor, whilst Chris's production background spans rock and house as well as trance and whilst Chris was already producing various styles of music, Pete was busy sharing numerous gigs behind the turntables with major league DJs. In addition to churning out superb uplifting trance melodies fused with pounding beats, Pete and Chris also run their own event 'Trancecube' which has been delivering the goods with some of the biggest names in trance since 2006 With such a wide variety of musical influences, cooperations with artists alreadyfrom other genres and vocalists are already on the way so mark this as the first of many a hit release from trance duo Solace and Solitude. Early Support: Andre Visior, M.I.K.E, Thomas Datt, Bjorn Akesson, Ehren Stowers, Jorn van Deynhoven, Karybde & Scylla, Mark Eteson, Sasha da Link, Suzy Solar, Haris C, Manuel le Saux, Michael Angelo, ReOrder, Sean Truby & more. 'Rhode Island' The first track of the EP, Rhode Island, is a dreamy fusion of pulsing basslines and delicate melodies with a euphoric break with peak time stamped all over it.
'Broadcast' The middle of the three, Broadcast is another work of art with a dreamy break, rolling bassline, huge key changes and haunting vocal effects. 'All About' Rounding things off, All About is a pounding finale to the trio which features a spoken vocal alongside an uplifting key change before dropping back into a kick-driven speaker shaker with a sprinkling of twisted effects.
